Every year for 244 years, the San Gabriel Mission has been putting on the Fiesta during the Labor Day Weekend. The event celebrates the anniversary of the 10 families walking from the San Gabriel Mission to Olvera Street and started the city of Los Angeles. Each year approximately 65,000 - 80,000 attendees come from all over to enjoy the food, carnival rides, the beer garden, and shop local businesses. There are also live performances everyday.
