Description: The El Arco Facility in Lincoln Heights hosted the inaugural ceremony December 8, 2014 for the Special Olympics World Games, to be held in Los Angeles in July of 2015. 177 countries will participate in this event, and over 7,000 contestants will be welcomed to Southern California over a four day period. Lincoln Heights has been selected as a host town.
